All our breeding dogs have silky wavy coats. In addition to extensive health-screening, all our breeding dogs have been gene-tested and none carry for the "curly" gene.
Their coats can be left long and silky or kept in a pet trim, in which case they will look a lot like a pocket-sized Goldendoodle! Either choice is equally easy for the owner to maintain, so it's really a matter of personal preference and lifestyle. (Here in Florida, we keep those who like to swim in a Doodle trim simply so they'll dry faster.)
In either case, all that is required to keep your Bydand Silk looking great is a weekly brushing and a bath every couple of weeks.
